PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The South Pacific islands of New Caledonia are said to be among the world's largest nickel producers and, the Goro nickel deposit, which is owned by the local INCO GORO NICKEL, a subsidiary of Canada-based INCO LTD., is said to be the world's largest. According to Peter Garritsen, INCO GORO NICKEL President, his company now has an agreement in principle with the government regarding the construction and operation of a new nickel laterite plant.
