The KC-10 is a big plane. Standing nearly five stories high, wider than a football field and almost as long as five school buses parked in a row, this plane is impressive.
As awesome as the airplane is, though, the crews that fly these giant refuelers are even more impressive. This is the story of one of those crews, flying on a mission code named Taint 55. It's a story about experience, camaraderie and sacrifice.
