Aung San Suu Kyi, whose National League for Democracy was denied its landslide victory in 1990 by the ruling generals in Burma, now called Myanmar, recently was interviewed on the BBC World Service online program "Talking Point."
She said that discussions between her party and the ruling military junta had made some progress since her release from house arrest in May, but there was "some way to go."
