Buckle up and hang on.
The national recreational vehicle industry is again moving into high gear, with orders up 19 percent in 2002 and similar performance predicted for 2003. Lane County's RV manufacturers and dealers are expecting to cash in on the good times.
The industry is benefitting from continued low interest rates, reasonable fuel prices and the rising popularity of driving vacations as more people seek to avoid security-related hassles at the nation's airports.
