A month after shuttering its doors, Penske Auto Centers says it's still negotiating with other companies to honor its warranties.
The auto-repair company, a subsidiary of Penske Corp., closed operations at more than 560 Kmart stores amid a dispute with the bankrupt discount retailer over payments.
Two stores in Southwest Florida, one in Sarasota on North Beneva Road and the other in Venice on the U.S. 41 Bypass, were among those closed.
