The Danskin Triathlon may have moved to Wisconsin, but Naperville still will have its three-sport race this summer.
More than 2,000 women have signed up to compete in the River's Edge Women's Triathlon on June 23 in downtown Naperville.
The triathlon will mimic the popular Danskin race, which was run in Naperville for five years before the sponsor announced it would move to Pleasant Prairie, Wis., to accommodate more athletes.
