Church weddings are nothing new, but it's not usually two churches taking on the roles of the bride and groom.
On Sunday in Wheaton, the 45-year-old Geneva Road Baptist Church will be formally joined with the Hope Fellowship Church in a wedding ceremony complete with a unity candle lighting.
Both parties have opted to change their names and become Christ Community Church of Wheaton. They will be located at 602 E. Geneva Road in Wheaton, where Geneva Road Baptist Church has been located since 1957.
