The challenges encountered by the sole practitioner are now receiving long-overdue attention, and enterprising lawyers are finding their own solutions to the endless problems of balancing work, income, family and leisure time. Over the years, as a sole practitioner, I had become increasingly frustrated by the difficulties of spending quality vacation time with my family, both at home and overseas, or even being able to spend more time in leisure and community activities.
