COBURG - Responding to slower sales in August and September, Monaco Coach Corp. offered discounts and incentives to dealers, which took a toll on the Coburg-based company's third quarter earnings, Monaco officials said Wednesday.
Monaco reported a profit of $7.4 million, or 25 cents a share, on sales of $358.9 million in the three months ended Oct. 2. Profit was up 18.8 percent and sales were up 18.4 percent compared with the third quarter last year.
