The Elk Grove Village board Tuesday night voted 5-1 in favor of size restrictions for recreational vehicles, campers and boats.
Residents will no longer be able to indefinitely park their vehicles in driveways in front of their homes unless the vehicles are less than 25 feet in length, 9 feet in width and 8 feet in height.
The board will allow residents 72 hours per month to load and unload equipment in front of homes.
