Thang Za Hmung is now living as a refugee in Regina, but he grew up living in constant fear of being captured by the Burmese army. "If it was Burma and you were now interviewing me, you would have to look around, you'd have to look outside and you'd be ready to run away," says Za Hmung. This is just one example of how youth in Burma have been forced to think in order to survive.
