About the Author
Peter Wright has represented children with disabilities and their parents for more than 20 years. Pete represented Shannon Carter before the U. S. Supreme Court in Florence County School District IV v. Shannon Carter where he won a landmark victory that is benefiting children with disabilities. Pamela Wright, a psychotherapist, has written dozens of articles about special education advocacy. She is the editor of "The Special Ed Advocate," an online newsletter about special education law and advocacy issues. Pete and Pam Wright built Wrightslaw, the legal advocacy site for parents, attorneys, advocates, and educators.
