About the Author
Rob Rains is the author or co-author of 14 books, including the autobiographies of Jack Buck, Red Schoendienst and Ozzie Smith. He also is the author of Mark McGwire, Home Run Hero, published by St. Martin's Press in 1998. His wife, Sally Tippett Rains, a KMOX alum, is the co-author of six books, including The Pope's Visit to St. Louis, and Keeping Your Kids Grounded When You're Flying by the Seat of Your Pants, with Dr. Tim Jordan.
