About the Author The authors, Leslie Davis and Sandi Sirotowitz, bring to this program years of experience and many skills in the area of education. Ms. Davis received her bachelor's degree in education. Ms. Sirotowitz received her bachelor's degree in speech and language. After teaching careers, both women earned masters degrees in exceptional education, specializing in learning disabilities. Harvey C. Parker, Ph.D is a clinical psychologist, educational consultant and author. He is nationally recognized for his work on behalf of those with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. He is the co-founder and former executive director of CH.A.D.D., an national organization for children and adults with attention deficit disorder. Dr. Parker has authored a number of books in this area including his best-selling "The ADD Hyperactivity Workbook for Parents, Teachers, and Kids", "The ADD Hyperactivity Handbook for Schools", and most recently, "Put Yourself in Their Shoes: Understaning Teenagers with Attention-deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder".
