From the Publisher James F. Clapp III, M.D. has been the world's foremost researcher in the area of exercise and pregnancy since the early 1980`s. He is currently the director of obstetrical research at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a professor in the Department of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Prior to this, he had been a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine since 1970. He also served as the director of research from 1979 to 1987. A member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Society for Gynecological Investigation, Clapp received his MD from the University of Vermont in 1963.
About the Author James F. Clapp III, M.D., is a professor emeritus of reproductive biology at Case Western Reserve University and a research professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He lives in Byron, California.
