Author Biography: Neil Kent was born in Florida, USA. He teaches and carries out historical and social research at the University of Cambridge, England, and is the author of The Triumph of Light and Nature: Nordic Art 1740-1940 (Thames & Hudson, 1987), which has sold over 20,000 copies worldwide.
