About the Author
A. Knoefel Longest wrote essays throughout the 2004 season for the popular Web site of Red Sox television announcer Jerry Remy, theremyreport.com. In his "Scrapbook of a Season" column, Knoefel chronicled the memorable games and moments of what would be a historic season at Fenway. A graduate of Indiana University and currently a graduate M.F.A. student at Emerson College, Knoefel has spent the past two summers working at Fenway Park, where he has been immersed within the unique culture of Red Sox baseball.
