About the Author Mike Harkins is the former head basketball coach of Eastern Montana College (now Montana State UniversityBillings). In 15 seasons, his teams won 295 games, 10 NAIA district titles, and 12 conference championships. He also coached four teams in international competition. Jerry Krause is the director of basketball operations for Gonzaga University (the Zags) in Spokane, Washington. He has coached and taught basketball at all levels for over 40 years. The author of 21 books on coaching basketball and over 30 instructional videos, Krause is the chairman of the NABC Research Committee and former chairman of the NCAA Basketball Rules Committee.
