About the Author
John A. Toores is a newspaper reporter for the Poughkeepsie Journal in New York. He has written eleven sports biographies, inclidung Gregg Maddux (Lerner), Hakeen Olajuwon (Enslow), and Darryl Strawberry (Enslow). He lives in Fishkill, New York with his wife and two children. When not writing, John likes to spend his time fishing, coaching Little League baseball, and spending time with his family.
