In the Midst of the Fray: Finding Pure Grace FROM THE PUBLISHER
In The Midst Of The Fray
is a guide through lifes conflicts into the presence of God. Every day a battle
rages between good and evil, right and wrong, life and death. Because the
warfare is real and deadly, the believer is challenged to deepen his or her
relationship with the Lord. The book draws on the Old Testament book of Daniel.
Even though exiled his entire life in an ungodly empire, Daniel exemplifies
integrity and compassion. His insights and steadfast loyalty to God assist us in
finding the Lords pure grace even during our own tumultuous times. Woven into
the Daniel story are bits of humor, practical stories, and pithy illustrations
from ordinary life. It is my desire that believers pursue greater intimacy with
the Lord, says Joan Weller. For He is the one who clears out foggy thinking,
enlightens the path through the mess, and gives courage to the disheartened. My
prayer is that you will find the Lords pure grace even during difficulty,
sorrow, and stress.
