About the Author Anne Powers is a an award winning fine artist and teacher with a BFA in Fine Art/Painting, an MA in Art Education, and an MFA in Graphic Design with a concentration on Electronic Media. Among her honors, she won Best in Show in the 1996 MacXibition, a national competition sponsored by NYC Mac Users, MacWorld and Apple Computer for her animation, An Interactive Guide to Self Sabotage. Recently retired from thirty years of college teaching, Anne has taught many applications for Illustration and 3D. Since the release of CINEMA 4D in the United States she has focused most of her energies on its possibilities. For the past three years, Anne has taught CINEMA 4D in the New Media Academy and Digital Media Academy at Stanford University.
