Author Bio: BARD E. OﾽNEILL is a professor of international affairs at the National War College in Washington, where he is also director of Middle East studies and director of studies of insurgency and revolution. His other publication credits include The Energy Crisis and U.S. Foreign Policy, Armed Struggle in Palestine, and The Deadly Embrace. He lives in Springfield, Virginia.
