Time After Time: A Love Story Written as a Screenplay
- Book Review,
by Pratibha A. Dabholkar

Book Description
Time After Time is a story about a history professor who undergoes hypnosis to overcome his nightmares, and regresses to his past life as a Civil War soldier. There, he meets and loses his soul mate, and becomes desperate to find her again in his present life. Although his search is complicated by other characters, plot twists, and his own failings, he eventually learns important lessons about eternal love. The book has special appeal for readers interested in history, love stories, and past life connections. It also offers comfort and hope for the bereaved, through a reassuring perspective on eternal love and soul mates. The story will intrigue and touch people across all walks of life and be particularly appealing for movie buffs.

About the Author
The authors are college professors, married to each other, and avid writers. Dr. Pratibha A. Dabholkar teaches business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Dr. Earl J. Hess teaches history at Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, Tennessee. Both have extensive writing and publication experience, including a large number of books, chapters, journal articles, and conference papers. Their work in their individual fields is widely cited and read, and they have both won several awards for excellence in writing and creativity over the years. Their highest honor is that Dr. Hess’s recent book (his sixth), "Pickett’s Charge: The Last Attack at Gettysburg," was nominated for the 2002 Pulitzer Prize in History. Time After Time is their first joint project and first work of fiction. Their second such project is an original and unusual novel called Dreamer. Both books were written after the tragic loss of their precious daughter Julie to a vicious form of leukemia. Based on a synergistic and inspired effort, the books represent creative literary fiction that readers will find entertaining as well as enlightening. But most importantly, the books offer comfort and hope to those who have lost a loved one, and intrigue all readers who want to broaden their understanding of eternal love and soul communications.
