TOO MUCH SEX??? Are today’s Hollywood and Country Music stars having too much sex? Maybe so, according to baby book authors, Dr. Mark Moore an obstetric and pediatric anesthesiologist in North Florida, and his wife, Lisa, a pediatric nurse. "Every time a man has sex, his sperm count and volume are temporarily lowered. Because it takes an average of 24 to 48 hours for sperm production to replenish the count, frequent sex doesn't allow the numbers of sperm or its volume to build back to normal levels. Lower sperm counts can favor the conception of a baby girl. Lets look at some examples: Bruce Willis (three girls, no boys), Alan Jackson (three girls, no boys), Tim McGraw (three girls, no boys), and Toby Keith (two girls, no boys)." While a 50-50 chance exists for either a baby girl or baby boy, two of the same sex has a theoretical 25% incidence, and three of a kind, even less common (12%). Maybe the most famous person who attempted to prearrange the sex of his children was King Henry VIII. His sexual needs were satisfied not only by his wives, but a long line of courtesans. Therefore, the harder he tried, the less likely it became to make a male heir. One doesn’t have to spend thousands of dollars on sperm sorting techniques to predetermine the sex of your child. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and board-certified in pain management, with subspecialties in obstetric and pediatric anesthesia.
