About the Author
Itoko Maeno has illustrated over 22 children's picture books and her work is admired nationwide. Four of her titles have won national awards including the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Picture Book, illustrated for author, Penelope C. Paine. Itoko Maeno received a BA in graphic design from Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan. Her international flair and sense of fun adds a special charm to her work. She lives and works in Santa Barbara, CA.
