I wrote, "Sell It By Owner & Save", in order to guide the by owner seller through the more difficult issues they may face when selling by owner. You could easily say my book goes beyond the basics. I use example upon example of real life situations, experiences known to me that will surely enlighten you. It was quite challenging but I had to place myself in the shoes of a homeowner making an honest attempt at selling by owner, someone who knows very little, if anything, about real estate, in order to determine what to write so I can be of help. Knowing what I know about the business of real estate, understanding how buyers think and what they’re capable of putting a seller through, recognizing the three ring circus a real estate agent can perform, and acknowledging the many technicalities, legal and otherwise, I felt it appropriate to discuss, divulge and jam everything I could possibly think of in order to assist anyone willing to learn and accomplish the ultimate goal of selling by owner now and in the future. I acknowledge the need to save the commission in order to increase a down payment on a subsequent purchase or pay off a 2nd mortgage or other debt. My book will give you confidence, courage, and fill your head with moe knowledge than imaginable. The commitment is up to you.
