Book Description An exciting new Cuban Cookbook written in both English and Spanish by a native Cuban who immigrated to the United States at the age of three. The author presents each recipe with colorful pictures to tantalize the tastebuds. The book is designed like the restuarant's fare having daily specials, main entrees, desserts and coffees. The recipes are easy to follow and have been written in both English and Spanish within the same book. This wonderful cookbook can also be used as a coffee table book with many colorful pictures that will help you plan your next Cuban delicacy.
About the Author Yoly Perez was born in Havana Cuba and immigrated to the United States at the age of three. The Communist take-over caused her family to leave Cuba. As with so many other Cuban families, the hardships and challenges of beginning again in a new democratic country created close, positive and loving ties to both the lives they live today and the heritage they carry with them. She has a Batchelors of Architecture and practices throughout the United States and Latin America. Writing this book has enabled her to tap into the peace and warmth of those childhood memories of tastes, scents and sounds of her grandmother's loving kitchen. And she trusts that the creation, design, and offering of this book come straight from both of their hearts.
