From the Author
When I was a kid I remember having an amazing dot-to-dot book. I saw page after page of dots and had no idea what they were before I started. It's been a long time since I've seen anything like that. I really wanted to recreate the magical experience I had for people today. The Greatest Dot-to-Dot Book in the World is a vast collection of mystery images that won't reveal themselves until you get started. Also included are unique new connect-the-dot inventions and ideas that have never before seen print. I think that this is the most exciting dot-to-dot book to come out in 30 years.

FROM THE CRITICS

Genesee Valley Parent Magazine

Anyone who knows how to count can undertake the puzzles in this book. It contains various skill levels as well as helpful hints and tips. In addition to the traditional dot-to-dots there are key puzzles with more than one line to connect; no-dot puzzles, where you connect just the numbers; and field of dots, which has evenly spaced dots with a key indicating which to connect. Prepare to be challenged.

Children's Literature

This 8 1/2 by 11 inch book has 48 pages of intriguing, but indecipherable, pictures that are impossible to bring together visually until up to 317 dots are connected with straight lines drawn from dot to dot. The most intriguing thing about the designer's work is the way the puzzle solver is directed to draw long lines in unexpected places that completely unbalance any pre-conceived ideas about what is being depicted. Testing a puzzle, with no clues as to its final form, I drew a desert traveler riding a camel. This book would be a perfect gift for a convalescing friend, or indeed for anyone with time on his or her hands. And what about that young man who just won't learn his numbers? Book two in the series. 2001, Monkeying Around Publisher, $6.95. Ages 6 up. Reviewer:Eleanor Heldrich

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Jean B., Senior Citizen, Washington C.H., OH Gee-whiz, a Dot-to-Dot Book that goes beyond '10'. What a brilliant and clever idea. I just finished Book 1, and can't wait til book 2 arrives. I used colored pencils which added a little something different. I am having a ball going from 1 to sometimes 200 plus and wondering what the picture will be. Fun, relaxing for a senior citizen. — B. Jean

Susan H., Mom, Westfield, MAMy 5 year old daughter received your dot-to-dot books as a Christmas present and has been glued to them ever since. Rachel has always enjoyed dot-to-dots but your books provided a super challenge for her. Rachel could easily count to 100 but wasn't familiar with the actual written numerals. Your books has helped her to learn the written numbers well into hundreds!! Rachel is miles ahead of her kindergarten class in counting and numbers. I would DIRECTLY attribute her success to your dot-to dot books. Rachel also learned the concept of even and odd numbers...something her school class hasn't even begun. Rachel loves to try and guess the pictures as she goes along. Rachel is very excited that a third book is coming along because she is almost half way through book # 2. Keep your great puzzle books coming!!  — Susan H.
