Early readers have all commented on the easy-to-read style, humor and insight throughout the book.
From the Author When I finally understood that my mother had Alzheimer's eleven years ago, I never, ever imagined that she would not always live with me. I wanted to care for her and I had no idea that anything could happen to cause me to move her to a nursing home. However, the stress of caregiving made my own health a life-or-death issue. That made me a "visitor"-a role I did not want. For my mother's well being, I decided that I would become the best visitor possible.
