About the Author Portia Little, who has been a food columnist, feature writer, and editor specializing in food and travel, has contributed to magazines and newspapers including Bon Appetit, The Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and Granite State News. She has been an editor at Cornell and the University of Delaware. A Syracuse University graduate with degrees in journalism and human development, she has an extensive cookbook collection and is a gourmet cook specializing in desserts and breads.
