About the Author Col. Bill Pullum and Dr. Frank Hanendrat are two of the most highly respected teachers of shooting skills in the world. Col. Pullum concluded a distinguished military career as the Officer-in-Charge of the famous U. S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team. There he coached what may have been the greatest generation of World and Olympic champions ever in the United States. Pullum and Hanenkrat teamed up to produce several Army Marksmanship Unit shooting manuals and articles. Their previous best-known work, Position Rifle Shooting, was first published in 1973 and sold out five printings. Col. Pullum resides in Alabama, and Dr. Hanenkrat, a former college English professor, resides in Colorado.
