The FDNY Firefighters 2005 Calendar of Heroes is the most recent calendar created to help support the FDNY Fire Safety Education Fund. A significant portion of the proceeds benefit this fund which supports the FDNY in serving the public and saving lives through fire safety education and other projrcts. The calendar has been a tradition since 1996. Each month features an 11" X 14" photograph of one of FDNY's finest. This is a wonderful tribute to firefighters everywhere as well as a fun, useful, and beautifully photographed calendar.

About the Author
BATTMAN, occasionally known as Alan Batt, is a native New Yorker. He is one of the most recognized photographers in New York City. Renown for capturing the "best of The City", his photographs have been published on greeting cards for over 25 years. He has photographed the FDNY Calendar of Heroes since 1996, is the lead photographer for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and is the only photographer with a permanent exhibition in The Empire State Building. His client list is extensive and his work has been published worldwide.
