About the Author
Like a poetic Johnny Appleseed, Brod Bagert travels America, visiting schools and conferences with the message that poetry comes alive for children when they perform it. His own poems often are funny, sometimes sad, and always highly performable. Brod has published 10 books of poetry; five for children and five for adults. He has developed the Performance Method to teach poetry.
