About the Author
Heather Busch is a recognized authority on the photography and curation of cat art and is credited with opening the world's first gallery devoted exclusively to the display of cat painting. She has had several books of original work published as a well-known New Zealand painter and sculptor, including Kokigami and Within and Beyond. Burton Silver is a New Zealand based writer and art critic who has been instumental in organizing a number of important solo exhibitions of cat painting. He is no stranger to unusual art forms and has writen books on subjects as diverse as the aesthetics of ornithological dejecta, and contemporary Japanese paper sculpture.
