Book Description Simon, the intrepid dreamer and eternal optimist, is on a new adventure. Riding his horse, telescope in hand, he sets out to find a hidden treasure. Marlene helps at first and they discover that a butterfly, a turtle, and a squirrel each has its own particular treasure. But none is the treasure Simon seeks. As he goes on alone an old gold miner asks Simon what treasure he’s looking for. He’ll know when he finds it, he answers. How he does just that provides a charming ending to Simon’s search.

About the Author Gilles Tibo is one of Quebec’s most prolific artists and authors. His children’s books have won numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Literary Award and the Owl Award from Japan, and the artwork from Annabel Lee was accepted into the Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators’ Exhibition. He also represented Canada for the 1998 Hans Christian Andersen Award. Gilles Tibo lives in Montreal.
