Gr 5-7-A fast, furious, and ultimately confusing trip through a millennia-long process. Starting with a brief explanation of evolution, this book races through an "interview" with a giraffe, a look at the elephant's evolutionary family tree, the "artificial selection" of the dog, Charles Darwin and the voyage of the Beagle, the Scopes trial, etc. Interspersed are color photos, diagrams, illustrations, maps, and several "investigations" to attempt and quick flashes of factoids in colorful boxes.
