Contemporary Political Satire: Narrative Strategies in the Post-Modern Context FROM THE PUBLISHER
While satire involves at least implied norms against which a target can be exposed to ridicule, post-modernism connotes an absence of any such normative basis. The focus of this study is the manner in which contemporary authors have attempted to avoid or accommodate the contradictions involved in attempting satire in the post-modern context.
