Twentieth-Century American Dramatists, Vol. 249 SYNOPSIS
The contributors have been chosen for their specialization in particular dramatist's work, and their combined efforts comprise a basic resource. A biography precedes a lengthy discussion of the dramatic output, production and reception of each dramatist, illustrated with b&w photos. Each entry provides a list of the playwright's works, including all non- theatrical productions such as novels, collections, and recordings, and concludes with a list of interviews, biographies, references, and archives.
