The Bishop holds numerous academic degrees in sociology and theology. he is a magna cum laude graduate of Arkansas State College, Oberlin College School of Theology, California, School of Theology/Glendale. he also received an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity form Geneva College in Beaver Falls, in Penn. he has five adult sons George A., Grant, Gregory, Gordon, and Glenn.
