FROM THE CRITICS
Booknews
New York attorney Okrent presents an aid for law students learning the extensive and often arcane terminology of the profession. First she lists and defines terms within sections such as administrative law, civil litigation, contracts, and labor and employment. The entries include a guide to pronunciation. Each section ends with exercises. Then the same entries are presented on 768 flash cards, 2x4 each, that can be detached and separated; the term, pronunciation, and area are on one side, and the definition is on the other. The disk includes the same information yet again. No date is noted for the first edition. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
