Joining the NBA in 1967, the Seattle SuperSonics have boasted some of the most exciting teams and players that the league has ever seen. In 1978-79, the high-flying Sonics, led by Dennis Johnson, Gus Williams, and Jack Sikma won the NBA title. Since then, the Sonics have featured perennial all-stars such as Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, and Vin Baker.
