About the Author
Suzy Gershman is an author and a journalist who has worked in the fiber and fashion industry since 1969 in both New York and Los Angeles, and has held editorial positions at California Apparel News, Mademoiselle, Gentleman’s Quarterly, and People magazine, where she was West Coast Style editor. She writes regularly for various magazines; her essays on retailing are text for Harvard Business School. She frequently appears on network and local television; she is a contributor to National Geographic Traveler and Where Paris.
Suzy lives part time in Paris, part time in Provence, and part time at the nearest airport.
Jennifer McCormick is a graduate student and part-time editorial assistant for Born to Shop.
Aaron Gershman is a singer-songwriter who lives in Brooklyn, New York, and is a contributing editor to Born to Shop. He has been on the Born to Shop team since he was 4 years old, but has only recently begun serious research responsibilities.
