About the Author
Warren J. Kiel began studying butterflies and other natural history subjects as a teenager. He is the generally acknowledged expert on the Lepidoptera of northern New Hampshire, especially the White Mountains. He lives in Whitefield, New Hampshire. Lois DeLuca is a graduate of Syracuse University School of Fine Arts. She studied drawing with Hans Hofmann, woodcuts with Antonio Frasconi, and etching with Stanley Hayter. She is the author and artist of the children's book, How Big Am I. She resides in Hancock, New York.
