Snowboarding FROM THE PUBLISHER
It was February 2002. Puffs of breath filled the icy air. Bells rang out. Reporters chatted into microphones. People in bright coats and jackets dotted the snowy hills like a colorful carpet. Photographers snapped endless photos, and video cameras rolled. Nervous riders waited to take to the white blanket of snow. Olympic victory was just around the corner for someone.
The entire world waited to see what would happen as the riders sped into the halfpipe. Who would take home Olympic gold, silver, and bronze medals?
