The April 1991 symposium was held in honor of Peter Egelstaff. The wide variety of papers includes topics as diverse as the physics of noble gas fluids to the latest work on the structures induced by solvated electrons, and phase transitions in binary hard-sphere systems. The proceedings are rounded off by some thought-provoking views from Egelstaff himself on what the future may hold for the physics of fluids. The invited papers presented here are reprinted from the Journal of physics, v.3, no.10, 1991. No index. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
