The Motley Fool Investment Workbook
- Book Review,
by David Gardner

From Booklist
The Gardners proclaim this to be a "stand-alone interactive guide," but it will appeal most to fans of their Motley Fool Investment Guide (1996) or their just-released You Have More Than You Think: The Motley Fool Guide to Investing What You Have (1998). In their trademarked (literally!) Foolish style, these two brothers provide the charts, graphs, questionnaires, and pop quizzes necessary to help people assess their own financial status, set goals, and develop a plan and method to reach those goals. The Gardners help make investment principles clear and are very effective in reaching those who may be put off by more traditional financial planning guides. Although their advice is quite sound, they serve it up irreverently and make it clear that they do not take themselves too seriously. David Rouse
