Tanzania is part of the "Countries of the World" series. The book offers a very general introduction to the country, and attempts to cover a wide variety of areas by skimming the surface of the topics. The first half of the book is devoted to the more standard pieces of information: geography, currency, education, and cultural aspects. Young children will be interested in the section on animals, as Tanzania is known for its wide variety of animals and game reserves. The end of the book offers a bit more detail. The game mancala is explained and children could play this at home.
