Snoopy certainly has a terrific imagination. For those who have enjoyed the Peanuts comic strip, his antics will be all too familiar. Once again Snoopy is a World War I flying ace fighting the Red Baron. Of course reality comes into play as he gets hit by a snowball and lands in his dog dish, then later gets bonked with a football. It is one crazy exploit after another and Lucy wonders why Charlie can't have an ordinary dog. In the end when Linus reminds the flying ace that he can't fly in the rain, our soaking wet dog ends up in bed with Charlie Brown. A book in the "Ready-to-Read" series, Level 2. 2002, Little Simon,
