No Mother No Mirror SYNOPSIS
Trisha Morrison, and Robert Woods "No Mother, No Mirror" was
written on the premise that dressing well is a skill that has to be learned, and
not one that people are born with. First impressions are everything. People
never seem to forget their first impressions of someone, and if it's
unfavorable? it takes another seventeen encounters with that person to erase the
first impression they had of you. Fully illustrated, researched, and
reader-friendly, their book provides information that should win everyone that
ever-important first impression. "No Mother, No Mirror" will get even the most
introverted employee, student, or businessperson into the main stream of the
workforce by teaching him how to shop, select, and dress for success. Their
book will help employers come to grips with the true meaning of "dress down
Friday's," and what a company actually means when it tells it's employee's to
lose their "suited ? look."
Whatever you need can be achieved through your style of dress. We can all gain
our very own "personal edge." We need only know, and truly accept our nature
given body by selecting clothes that enhance our positives, and distract from
our negatives.
"No Mother, No Mirror," is not a book about building a better relationship
between you and your mother. It is not about finding your perfect soul mate,
and it's not about choosing a better career. It is about getting ahead, and
staying ahead, of your competition in the workplace by wearing clothes that
better define you, and clothes that highlight your company's mission.
Trisha Morrison and Robert Woods are teachers ? the ones who always want to make
everything right. This book will help you get out of those college duds (that
meant clothes in the 60's) or those "stay at home mom" leggings and oversize
tops; or dad's old "hand-me-down" blazer, and get into the game of professional
dressing. This book will teach you how to make money by putting a higher value
on the personal you? a value that your boss will be willing to pay for, and a
value that those around you will be inspired by. "No Mother, No Mirror," gives
you a "personal edge," an edge that will reflect your new style of thinking, and
dressing. You will be inspired to be your best, because you will look your
best.
