About the Author
D. B. Gilles is both a professor and a produced writer, having written for the stage, television, and screen. He teaches in the Dramatic Writing Program and the Film and Television Department at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, widely considered the number one film school in the country. In The Screenwriter Within, he uses his intensive experience in the classroom to give beginning screenwriters the confidence and enthusiasm they need.
